STYVILLE — The Office of Mayor Pigbraham Lincoln announced today that the Mayor, members of his administrative staff, and the McGuire delegation — Duncan, Izzee and Whimzee — will depart Monday, October 19, for an undisclosed location in the Scottish Highlands.

The trip is expected to last approximately ten days.

According to the Mayor’s Office, the purpose of the visit is economic development, although officials have not disclosed the specific objectives of the mission or what opportunities may be under consideration.

Mayor Lincoln assured The Daily Oink that additional information will be made available as appropriate.

Transportation will be provided by Aero Pigs™ aboard its LAPTV — Low Altitude Porcine Transport Vehicle.

While the LAPTV will require considerably more travel time than conventional transatlantic transportation, the itinerary will allow the delegation to make several stops along the way. The Mayor’s Office indicated those stops are expected to provide opportunities beneficial to the broader global porcine community.

The first confirmed stop will be Paw & Boot Camp near Siloam Springs, Arkansas, where the delegation will rendezvous with the McGuires before continuing the journey.

Neither the remaining itinerary nor the delegation’s final destination in Scotland has been released.

When asked whether Styville residents should read anything into the unusual combination of an economic development mission, the Scottish Highlands, the McGuires, and an Aero Pigs™ aircraft capable of making numerous stops along the way, the Mayor’s Office reiterated that details would be forthcoming.

The Daily Oink will continue to follow developments.

Developing.
